Waiting for winter 2015

As we all are aware, there has been unseasonably warm temperatures in my region. This has been a balmy start to our winter season here in #Georgina. The small engines business has dwindled to a crawl, so I am focusing more on my online venture in order to boost my sale both in affiliate marketing and my eBay ventures.

People have put away the lawn equipment and leaf blowers,  hopefully following some of my winter storage tips, which can be found here, and are putting up Christmas lights, and waiting for the inevitable snowfall.

David Phillips of Environment Canada, has predicted a yo-yo type of winter in terms of weather. This means that a week or so it will be cold, and snowy, likely with large amounts of lake effect snow. Then warm for roughly a week. Ice fishing will have a late start and a short season, as will, I suspect, snowmobiling and other winter sports.

I highly recommend having all of your winter toys and snow removal equipment service prior to the start of the snow fall, be sure to be ready for the dump, that may come as late as January 2016. It may look good now, but it will come. We do live in Canada, and winter is inevitable.

Just a short reminder to prepare for the season ahead,
