Stolen Sign

I got up this morning, and noticed the sign for my small engines business was missing. I walked out to the road, crossed the road, looked at my one neighbors lawn, walked a bit further (downwind).

no sign…..

This sign was 2 ft. by 3 ft. in height. and simply said Rolly’s Small Engine Repair. and my phone number on the front. This sign took me three painstaking hours to make as I am not an artist by any means, and wanted passers by to actually be able to read what was written. It was a bit windy this morning due to a bit of a rain storm etc. that had been starting up over night, but this sign had survived worse than this.

I have come to the conclusion that someone local, possibly impaired by some form of drug, has made off with it. To what end? I am not sure what use this sign has, other than to locate my business, and it serves as minimal advertising.

It is also possible that the culprit is the same individual who routinely removes 10 to 15 business cards from the local grocery store entrance within a day of me putting them on display amongst the rest of the ads.

This, sadly, could be an effort to thwart or discourage competition. there are a couple of others around doing the same thing. I don’t really think that this is the reason, but anything is possible.

All I can say is, do what you will, I am here to stay. No matter what you do you can not take me off of google maps, or stop this business from being searched on the internet. Btw I do come up in the number one or two position when small engine repair is searched.

Have a great day.

Rolly
